Discover the Bachelor’s Final Projects winners of the ei! Awards 2025

Once again, Elisava ei! Awards have recognized the best Bachelor’s Final Projects of the students of the Bachelor in Design and the Bachelor in Engineering. The aim of the awards is to recognize the quality and excellence of the students of each promotion during their academic journey, taking into account criteria such as innovative vision and critical thinking.

The winners received the awards in the framework of the Graduation Ceremony on Friday, October 10. The jury of this edition was formed by:

Tributos en llamas, by Yishi Yu

Jury’s decision: The proposal combines reading, setting up and burning, reclaiming memory as an ephemeral and manual experience, against the void of the ritualized consumerism. The jury specially values its exquisite art direction and accurate risograph that reinforce the visual and conceptual poetry of the project.

Product Design

Bleh! (Oda a la lengua), by Jana Valdé
Tutored by Mariana Eidler and Ricardo Bonacho

Jury’s decision: An innovative and poetic proposal that turns design into a therapeutic and effective tool. Through a collection of edible candies, the project treats macroglossia with a sensory, inclusive and playful vision, stimulating tongue proprioception. Inspired by the personal experience of the author, this project stands out because it celebrates physical diversity.

Roomies, by Adrián Pascual

Jury’s decision: A project that stands out for its technological and humanist approach, aimed at improving hospitalized children’s emotional well-being. Through a network videogame and mixed reality, it creates a virtual environment that enables the connection between patients, supporting the sense of community and the emotional development in isolation contexts.

Jury’s decision: It has an exceptional communication capacity, project solidity, and poetic sensitivity. The report has an excellent editorial level, and the model shows a great formal and technical quality. A brilliant proposal that combines vernacular architecture and contemporary technology to inhabit nature respectfully.

Industrial Design Engineering

Wavehalt, by Abril Poblet
Tutored by Jayant Khanuja and María Carrión

Jury’s decision: The jury highlights the capacity to design a complex structure that treats an urgent environmental problem: coast erosion. Through a system of artificial reefs developed by parametric tools and fluid dynamics simulations, the proposal dissipates the waves energy and, at the same time, it promotes marine life.

Industrial Design Engineering – Special Mention

Hexia One: Cooling system, by Estela Sánchez
Tutored by Marta Janeras, Pau Romagosa, Albert Sosa, Miquel Tejero, Oriol Bertomeu, Joel Benetti

Jury’s decision: A project that represents a clear example of pure engineering, with a precise solution to a complex technical challenge: maintaining the optimal temperature of the Power Train. The jury especially values its capacity to solve complete processes, combining CFD simulation, structural efficiency and additive manufacturing, to obtain a real functional prototype.

ei! Audience Award

Hexia One: Modular Frame, by Hugo Rivera
Tutored by Marta Janeras, Pau Romagosa, Albert Sosa, Miquel Tejero, Oriol Bertomeu, Joel Benetti

Modular chassis for an urban electric motorcycle combines metal additive manufacturing (SLM in Ti-6Al-4V) with a tubular steel front frame to enable a lightweight, upgradable platform. Designed for continuous improvement, it reduces components while optimizing rigidity, manufacturability, and structural performance.

Best Academic Records Award

The students with the Best Academic Record for the 2024-2025 academic year were Candela Román and David García (Bachelor in Design) and Helena Mallafré (Bachelor in Industrial Design Engineering), who received the award from Andie Puentes and Alícia Roca, the students who won the award in the same category for the 2023-2024 academic year.
