Degree in Engineering students win the Altair Global Student Contest for the design of a lighter and stronger tennis racket

A team of students from the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, formed by Clàudia Clavé, Alícia Roca and Joaquim Nogués, has won the first prize in the July edition of the EMEA region of the Altair Global Student Contest 2023.
Altair has thus recognized their project to optimize a tennis racket, with which they have imagined the future of this product, designing a racket that is larger, 30% lighter and stiffer than usual, with an incredible lattice structure.
The project, in which Elisava students have had the help of Altair Inspire, has been developed within the framework of the subject ‘Product Simulation I’, corresponding to the third year of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering (mention in Product Development).
