Dayna Evo, a new improved version of the electric rescue motorcycle from the Elisava Racing Team

For the third year running, 4th year students of the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering  and the Undergraduate Degree in Design have joined forces to form the new multidisciplinary Elisava Racing Team.

After the great success of the two previous editions, where they managed to design, develop and manufacture two electric motorbikes, this year has presented a new challenge: the eight students who make up the team have worked with the aim of continuing to develop Dayna, the motorbike of the previous edition, and to take it a step further.

That is why they have created a research laboratory, where they will continue to learn, grow and develop new concepts by working with leading companies in their sector and repeating the formula that has given the team so much success in the past: the collaborating companies that are already part of this community.

As an R&D team, the students have enhanced smart capabilities and rescue functionality and have designed and rethinked components to take full advantage of new manufacturing methods. The aim is to make Dayna a reference vehicle for technology, innovation and creativity.

In addition, the team will once again take part in the Barcelona Smart Moto Challenge where they will test the bike against other university teams and they will be able to win new awards to demonstrate the effort behind the project.
