In the year of the centenary of the Bauhaus school founding, the legacy of the modern movement in design and architecture is no longer something that is indisputably assumed, but has rather become a pending landscape to be constantly reconsidered in relation to concerns and the current and future challenges.

Elisava has developed, during the past years, a series of projects that have as reference milieu La Ricarda and Casa Bloc, with the intention, by students and teachers, to reflect, rethink and transform the functional, aesthetic or social model that these icons of modern Catalan architecture proposed at the time.

Through an exhibition, talks and two visits, Elisava, in the framework of Architecture Week 2019, wants to open up the reflection on heritage in design and architecture, while showing how it is interpreted, through projects, by the young design students of the school.
