Five projects by Elisava students have been nominated for the Audience Award at the ARTS THREAD's Global Design Graduate Show 2022. These are the following projects, which you can vote online until October 9th:

Roots, The Art Of Spraying Materials

Student: Mariana Costa Afonso
Degree: Master in Design through New Materials
Category: PRODUCT / ARCHITECTURE / INTERIORS

This is a story about other stories. The story of Portugal and the mountains, where the silence of the heights lives. The story of hidden crafts that keep their art alive in their wrinkled fingertips. The story of a generation who realised that owning everything doesn't mean being able to buy everything with a credit card.

Enluarada, Eu (moonlit, Me)

Student: Ana Luísa Chitolina
Degree: Master in Photography and Design

A contemplation of a cyclical person's phases. A photographic series along with text, combining landscapes, fragmented portraits and still life that represent the atmosphere of each cycle. With tides, water, moon and body as recurring themes. Using the lunar cycles as a narrative framework.

Infill 3d Uno

Student: Ruben Berenguer
Degree: Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering

The Infill 3D is a 3D printer that opens up the specialised product market to a general public that can benefit from the advantages of 3D printing in their daily lives, while avoiding the tedious learning process that makes many people rethink their purchase.

Bon profit! is an educational tool created to help children understand the problem of food waste, and give them recommendations on how to reduce it in their daily lives.

Student: Atteneri Paz Frías
Degree: Requalification Course for the Degree in Design
Category: PRODUCT / ARCHITECTURE / INTERIORS

A shared transition and meeting space in order to achieve greater social cohesion between immigrant and local youth. A communication channel that generates spontaneous social interactions, to break down existing social barriers that hinder their integration, helping to eradicate segregation and avoiding the creation of hermetic spaces that exclude their environment.
