After selling all the tickets for its premiere at the Filmoteca de Catalunya just a week ago, the School will host on January 29 a new pass of 'L'estat turístic', a documentary directed by Ramon Faura, professor and Head of the Social Area of Elisava's Degrees.
The documentary film aims to promote the understanding, in all its complexity, of the debate on tourism in Barcelona and wants to help to differentiate between prejudices and the real problems that this phenomenon generates. With this objective, 'L'Estat turístic' gives voice to neighbours, politicians, businessmen, experts, tourists, workers and other groups of the city who share their opinions and reflections, in front of a camera, on a topic of interest to any citizen of Barcelona.
After the screening, the director of the documentary will hold a question and answer session in order to answer the questions of the attendees.
'L'estat turístic' is the culmination of the 'Assaig General' project, organised during FAD fest'17, by FAD Barcelona, and curated by Ramon Faura himself.
