Light, sound and visual illusions is the title of the online conference that Anna Díaz (Hamill Industries) will give, in which she will share the processes and techniques behind their latest projects and collaborations, from sound visualization works, through commercial works and new creative challenges.
Hamill Industries is a creative studio specializing in the convergence between technology and visual arts. They develop innovation projects based on experimentation and the mixture of techniques, creating new formats of visual communication.
The studio, formed by Pablo Barquín and Anna Díaz, carries out artistic and technological research in the field of visual arts and the exploration of light and sound. In their projects they develop their own tools and inventions combining digital and construction and design analog effects.
They have worked in multiple medias, including advertising, video clips, art installations, and performances. Their work has won international recognition in specialized publications (It’s Nice That, Deezen or The Creators Project) and awards such as the Laus Prize Gold (2015) and special mentions in the STARTS Prize Award (2006). Since 2015, they have been touring around the world with Floating Points creating their visual shows, and have presented their work at festivals and institutions such as Sónar Festival, ARS Electronica, The Barbican (London) and Matadero (Madrid).
