Invited by Mira Festival to present his last installation, French visual artist Guillaume Marmin comes to ELISAVA to present his work through conceptual and technical aspects.
The work of Guillaume Marmin is part of a revival of visual creation by avoiding traditional forms of narration and traditional scenic supports. He is looking for a common language between image and sound, a synesthetic alphabet made of rhythms, contrasts and refined figures in motion.
In order to offer new forms on this language, the work of Guillaume Marmin experiments with all types of media: mapping on 3D sculptures and buildings, projection on photography and screen printing, bodies in motion and smoke. His immersive works in public space consisting of collaborations between architects, musicians and lighting designers.
