A group of students from the 4th year of the Degree in Design and the Simultaneous Studies Programme, tutored by professor Ignasi Bonjoch, has designed the window of the contemporary Scandinavian furniture store BoConcept in Barcelona.
The action is part of the initiative 'Showcases – Design in Diagonal' of Barcelona Design Week; a project that aims to give visibility to local creative talent, link design to the commercial sector and bring design closer to society. It also aims to help businesses innovate and bring young talent from design schools into contact with stores.
In the case of the showcase designed by the students of Elisava, the team of the School has taken charge of the whole process, from the generation of the idea to its formalization, going through the presentation to the client, the preparation of budgets, the realization and assembly. Under the slogan 'Para gustos colores, ¿cuál es el tuyo?', the project highlights the immense possibilities of customizing the furniture of the firm, establishing a parallelism with respect to diversity. You can visit it in Diagonal Avenue, 558, until next Christmas.
