Elisava will host the meeting DSIPLAY: Ethics in the management and use of data. Open data, focusing on new ways of managing our data and exploring new ethical uses and social value. The activity will be split in two parts, the first one a talk given by Fernando Cucchietti, teacher from Elisava and Head of Data Analytics and Visualization at the Barcelona Supercomputing Centre, and heads of the Wikimedia Foundation team. Afterwards, some experiences with several open citizen data projects will be presented.

At the end of the presentations, a game will be held to put into practice the knowledge acquired in the use of data by Florence Devouard, former president of the Wikimedia Foundation.

DSIPLAY is a series of conferences, organized by Barcelona City Council, Barcelona Activa and other organizations, focused on digital social innovation. This series of talks aims to bring the most outstanding projects in this field closer to the public, and proposes a compilation of experiences open to everyone.
