The Degree in Industrial Design Engineering presents the conference of Axel Meyer of Nokia

Axel Meyer, Head of Design at Nokia, will give the 'Product Alchemy' talk at Elisava, invited by the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering.

Alex is currently Chief Designer at Nokia, based in San Francisco, California. Leading all of the ID and UI design for the consumer facing products across Nokia businesses, the award-winning Nokia WiFi and Nokia FastMile new products lines. Some of his recent achievement was the creation of the first Virtual Reality Professional Camera, OZO and the OZO suite of software applications to capture, live streaming and post-production solutions in VR.

Through his entire life, he had the chance to work and collaborate with an incredible range of industries, disciplines and cultures like Philips Design and Flex Design. He has gained a deep experience in leading multi-disciplinary creative teams as well as extensive knowledge of different product design processes. This allowed him to have a holistic view of design.
