The Masters and Postgraduate Programmes of Elisava organized the first edition of Masters' Talks, a cycle of conferences that will run throughout the academic year 2019-2020 (from October to June), with up to nine women at the forefront of design, art and innovation.
The cycle will be inaugurated by Renny Ramakers, the art historian and founder of Droog Design who will give the lecture 'Imagination as a catalyst for social change' on October 17. It will be followed by other prominent voices such as the Magnum photoperiodist Susan Meiselas; the director/animator Anna Ginsburg; media design and interaction artist Luna Maurer; architect, curator and director of AA London Eva Franch; The New York Times Magazine design director Gail Bichler; interior designer and founder of Man & Wellbeing department of the Design Academy Eindhoven Ilse Crawford; and Li Edelkoort, one of the world's leading trend experts.
All conferences are free of charge and take place in Elisava.
