Amelia Romo and Bárbara Nudelman are the two winners of the first TOUS-ELISAVA Chair scholarships and will study the Postgraduate in Creativity for Brands in Uncharted Futures with a 50% discount on the programme price.

Amelia Romo

Born in Mexico, she has been living in Madrid for six years. She studied Interior Design at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, but her connection to design began much earlier. “From the first time something intangible (a light, a texture, a smell) moved me,” she explains. “I have always been fascinated by how certain spaces and objects can hold memories. For me, design is precisely that: creating emotional experiences that last over time. That’s why, beyond aesthetics, I look for the symbolic, the sensory, what you feel.”

Bárbara Nudelman

Born in Brazil and a Polish citizen, Bárbara Nudelman says that design and branding have always played a central role in her professional career. “Each project presents me with a different challenge and new learning opportunities. I like to connect brands with people and create original things with their own meaning.’ She adds that she is interested in ‘exploring lesser-known areas and opening up new horizons.”

The TOUS-ELISAVA Chair connects design and innovation, exploring branding and creativity from a cross-disciplinary perspective with an eye on the challenges of the future.
