The DELUXE Pairing Edition of ed'o Olive Oils has recently been awarded with a Red Dot in Berlin. Luis Rodrigo Anaya, alumni of the Master's Degree in Communication and Advertising Strategies of ELISAVA during the 2010-2011 academic year and Creative Director of Mediactiu, the graphic design studio at Barcelona, has been at the Red Dot Awards Gala that was recently held in Berlin together with the study team and Selective Export, creative brand of ed'o oils.
The project has received the Grand Prix of the Packaging category, the highest recognition of these awards considered the Design Oscars. The international contest has received and evaluated more than 8,600 projects from more than 50 countries this year.
The panel of the Red Dot organization, constituted by 24 International experts, has stated:
"The packaging of ed'o Olive Oils is completely convincing: the elegant organic shape of the bottles is not only exceptionally beautiful and rests well in the hand, but also symbolizes the fluidity of the dripping oil. The fact that the two bottles are presented together following the Yin-Yang principle reflects the natural balance associated with the quality of this food product and the nature of its origins. The project also counts on its excellent packaging concept meticulously thought out and designed. "
