Nina Dubarry, at the Interior Design Show of Toronto

Nina Dubarry, alumni of ELISAVA’s Master in Furniture Design, will be at the Interior Design Show in Toronto, which will take place from 21st to 24th January.

Her project, Takeme, will be shown at the prototype section, which is considered to be one of the most important fairs because it represents the best fair in independent design.

Nina’s proposal consists of an extension of the Takeme’s collection, a project that had already won several awards and that was at the International Furniture Fair in Milan. Now, this collection includes the table with different sizes and more finishing touches. It reflects a natural life, a life which is constantly moving: modular, removable and customized tables, without needing any tools or screws for mounting it.

As a complement for this table, the interior and furniture designer has thought about a tailor-made backpack with two fabrics that allow this table’s transportation in order to turn it into a mat for being able to “camp” wherever you want.

“My major concert is the space we live around this piece of furniture, the relationship between a person and an object. The emotion and the feelings that objects cause to our life”, says Nina Dubarry.

Good luck in Toronto, Nina!
