Former students of Packaging win a Pentaward

Carolina Alzate and David Freyre, former students of the Master's Degree in Packaging Design at ELISAVA, have won a bronze award in the eight edition of the Pentawards with the “Ecoflora” project.

The project of our former students, “Ecoflora”, within the framework of home maintenance, is a brand of cleaning products which are friendly with the environment. Its packaging is far from the conventional shapes and colours in this kind of products and goes a step further in order to try to transmit the ecological message and the benefits of these products.

The Pentawards are open to all these people who are related to the creation or the marketing of the packaging. The objective of the awards consists of designing the packaging of different products (from cleaning products to luxury items) in which creativity and innovation stand out.

The prize-giving of the last edition of the Pentawards took place the last 9th of October in Tokyo. The jury appreciated, once again, the creative quality and the originality of the students trained in our School. After having won a silver Pentaward with the Pinominino project, in 2012, Carolina and David have showed again their talent in this renowned international contest.
