ANIMA Barcelona studio, run by two ELISAVA Alumni, keeps winning prizes

The design studio Ànima Barcelona has been awarded this month with two RED DOT Design Awards, one of the highest recognitions in the world of design (similar to the Oscars in the world of design) as well as with seven European Design Awards, which were collected at the European Parliament in Brussels.

ÀNIMA Barcelona is run by Diego Quiroga and Joanma Baqués, Alumni of ELISAVA and professors of the Postgraduate in Product Concept of ELISAVA. They have been awarded with one RED DOT Car for the design of the Catalan electric bike Volta BCN and another RED DOT Design Award for the helmet for Starstim/Enobio Neuroscience studies of the company Neuroelectrics in Barcelona, for which they already were awarded in China last year.

The European Product Design Award recognizes the efforts of international teams of talented designers who strive to improve our daily lives with practical and intelligent creations. Product designs, innovative and breakthrough. It also rewards the strategic vision and imagination that has led to the creation of a great product.

Ànima Barcelona has triumphed this time with seven of its designs: one platinum (maximum award) for the Volta motorcycle, two Gold and four Silver for other products, all of them in multiple categories such as electronics, gardening, automotive, kitchen appliances, medical equipment, etc.

Congratulations for such an excellent work!
