You work at
I work at BoO Barcelona, a company that I founded shortly after leaving Elisava. Nowadays, at BoO we are working in the design and strategy of product and innovation in the industrial and pharmaceutical sector.
You’re inspired by
I find daily inspiration in everything that surrounds me, I put a special effort on remaining open at my environment. I'm also particularly interested in technological innovations and the use that start-ups make of it.
Your idols are
Companies like Apple, Braun with Dieter Rams, Punkt, Teenage Engineering, HAY, or studies like Jasper Morrison.
Your best memory of Elisava
The best moment was to return to Elisava as a teacher and work alongside my former teachers, this helped me to understand things that I had learned as a student.
One good thing you learnt at Elisava
To analyze in depth aspects that are not evident and to do it following a methodology.
A good advice
Love everything you do, and do it at 200%! As designers, we have a great analytical capacity that can lead us to spend too much time judging other projects instead of doing our own. Each project responds to specific needs in the areas of user, sector, market, price, technology... And, above all, it responds to a strategy. We cannot judge them in an ordinary way.
About your professional experience in a few words
From the beginning of my professional career, I became specialized in product design strategy, from its formalization to its commercialization. What I like to do most is to understand the project to generate a global strategy for action.
This vision has led me to participate in projects as diverse as the creation of hospital products for premature newborns, experimental projects for the Mobile World Congress or crowdfunding projects.
