Elisava Alumni Júlia Blanco, Gonçalo Salgado, and Lakis Sobyra take part in LATENT

This month, Elisava alumna and art director Júlia Blanco participated as a speaker at LATENT, the creative talent festival held in Terrassa last Friday and Saturday. Her talk was part of a program that brought together professionals from different fields of design and digital arts, aiming to open new perspectives on the role of creativity in today’s industry.

Established as a meeting point between emerging voices and more consolidated profiles, LATENT focused this edition on highlighting and empowering new talent through a transversal lens. The festival combined talks, presentations, and discussion spaces that offered insight into the processes, methodologies, and projects shaping the current design landscape.

Elisava Alumni Gonçalo Salgado and Lakis Sobyra, graduates of the Master’s in Visual Design, also took part. After receiving the Young Talent Award at the 2025 LAUS Awards for their master’s final project, Heroes of Petanca, they presented the piece on Friday, November 21, at LATENT Fest. Their talk offered a deeper look into the conceptual development and creative approach of a project that, through irony and cultural observation, connects visual narrative, graphic identity, and experimentation.
