Elisava at LADFEST 2025, the international design festival in Cusco

This September, Elisava took part in the ninth edition of LADFEST and the LADAWARDS, the most important international design festival in Latin America, which was held in Cusco this year.

Under the theme Possible Futures: Imagining Creativity in the Age of AI, LADFEST 2025 was part of LADWEEK. From September 8 to 13, it turned the city into a meeting point where cultures, visions, and voices came together to redefine the future of design. It was a unique opportunity to reconnect, share experiences, and continue strengthening the global Alumni network.

Within this framework, Marc Aliart and Ber Arce, directors of the master’s programs in Audiovisual Design and Creativity, Design and Art Direction, Creative Direction and Communication, and New Narratives, led the workshop Design Intensive Lab. Dressing a Perfume on Wednesday, September 10.

The workshop was conceived as a visual experimentation lab that combined art direction and aesthetic strategy to give shape to intangible ideas through expressive imaginaries. Its starting point was perfume, explored as an abstract and sensorial trigger that invites new ways of narrating and representing, challenging industry conventions.
