Agustina Garrigou, an ELISAVA alumni, will participate, at the end of the month, in the Business of Design Week in Hong Kong. This year it counts on Barcelona as the partner city.
For this reason, the meeting will count on several renowned local professionals, such as Benedetta Tagliabue, Jordi Faulí or Jorge Pensi, among many others. They will share this space with different professionals in the world of design.
Within this context, Garrigou has been called by Zhen Porcelain, an art gallery in ceramics, to present her new bottle collection Fishermen Bottle, which is inspired in the sea and in fishermen’s world. Each bottle is a handmade unique piece, enamelled with cobalt blue.
Agustina Garrigou is an Argentine industrial designer and ceramist settled in Barcelona since she studied ELISAVA’s Master in Furniture Design. Her collections ranges from pieces of furniture made of mud to little utilitarian pieces, using colour as means of expression and prioritizing quality.
Her pieces will be exhibited in a cultural centre in Hong Kong City, PMQ, where she will give some talks about her work and influence in Barcelona.
This exhibition will be open for two weeks starting next Friday, November 27.
