Anton Garcia Seoane and Deyanira Carreón, Alumni Bold of ELISAVA’s Master in Furniture Design, have won the Popular Prize at «II Nyova Design Contest for Young Talent», a contest aimed to young designers under 35 years which rewards, among other aspects, the innovation, the design viability and the functionality and ergonomics of the product.
The awarded Project, TIGOUH, is an auxiliary table designed to improve the comfort of the user experience. The shape of the upper part is inspired by Tigo cookies, from Japanese confectionery. The middle of the table has been drilled to insert a ceramic complement that can be used either as a container or as a decorative element.
The table rest on four slender legs made of stainless steel which fits the table with elegancy and delicacy. An iconic piece that could be found at home or at cafeteria.
