Where were you born?

Getaria, Basque Country.

Where do you live?

Barcelona.

What did you study during your time at Elisava?

Master’s in Creative Direction and Communication.

Where do you work?

After finishing the master’s, I decided to take the leap and formalize my studio, Sin Título-1.

What has been your professional trajectory?

I began my graphic design studies in San Sebastián, completing a four-year technical and vocational training program. Concurrently, I worked as a designer at Pukas Surf and Otzarreta.

In 2019, I moved to Barcelona to study a Bachelor’s in Graphic Design and Visual Communication at IED. Between the first and second year, I spent four months in Mexico City working as a graphic designer in corporate scenography, primarily designing stands for Nike, BBVA, Champions League… Upon returning to Barcelona, while finishing my degree, I interned at Mut and Momento Agency.

After completing my bachelor’s, I started working at Lo Siento Estudio while pursuing a Master’s in Creative Direction at Elisava. In July 2023, upon finishing the master’s, I decided to go independent and formalized Sin Título-1. It is located in a shared space with other interdisciplinary designers in Poblenou, where for each project, I collaborate with various professionals based on specific needs.

What does design mean to you?

I see design as a dialectical tool between form and function.

Who professionally inspires you?

I enjoy observing storefront signs; I’ve always found them to be a fascinating communicative space where each brand tries to express its personality in some way. But the urban environment in general is filled with messages where design also plays a role.

How would you describe your experience at Elisava?

Intense and effective.
