Where were you born?

I was born in Estella-Lizarra, Navarra.

I live in Barcelona.

What did you study at Elisava?

I studied the Bachelor’s Degree in Design, specializing in graphic design, and the University Master’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Design and Communication.

Where do you work?

Right now, I combine my work as a packaging designer with my teaching role in Elisava’s Study Abroad program, while also taking on independent projects as a freelance designer.

What has your professional path been like?

After finishing my degree, I decided to study the MUDIC because I was interested in continuing my academic career with a PhD, and I worked at Elisava Research for two years. However, my interests changed, and I chose to move into the industry without leaving university teaching behind. Also, during my time at Elisava I was part of the Elisava Theater Group, where I discovered my passion for acting, and now I combine my work with acting studies at the Nancy Tuñón – Jordi Oliver school.

What does design mean to you?

For me, design is a tool for research and discovery.

Who inspires you professionally?

There are many designers who inspire me, but right now I love the work of Escola Studio and what they are doing with Extraescolar.

How would you define your time at Elisava?

My time at Elisava was very intense. Those were years in which I learned a lot, both about design and about myself. I think I made the most of everything the school offers, and I feel I will always be part of it in some way.

What marked you the most about what you learned at Elisava?

The ability to always remain curious and to look at things from a different perspective.

One piece of advice:

Rely on your peers. Working in community is always better

One future challenge:

To work in the editorial sector, surrounded by books, which is what I enjoy the most.
