This exhibition brings together a selection of projects from the Bachelor in Design and Innovation and the Bachelor in Industrial Design Engineering, all centered around a shared idea: All design is social. Far from offering definitive answers, the works on display pose questions that invite reflection on the role of designers in contemporary society.
The selection shares a common thread of social commitment and stems from an observation of the current and future everyday context. The projects are developed in dialogue with communities, social organizations, institutions, and local agents, understanding design as a collective process of listening, research, and experimentation that connects learning and reality.
These experiences unfold through expanded educational formats that transcend the conventional boundaries of the classroom and foster direct interaction with diverse individuals and groups. Working in real-world contexts generates often unpredictable situations that transform typical learning dynamics and encourage attitudes of listening, adaptation, and critical thinking.
The exhibition thus becomes a meeting point for collectively thinking about how to address current social challenges and showcasing design as a way to understand the present and imagine possible futures.
