As every year, the Elisava Theatre Group comes back with a play for all audiences. And, as every year, they adapt a classic, in this case by Santiago Rusiñol, reviewing it sui generis and, as always, full of humor. The difference, this year, is that it is not only one play but four! The Theatre Group describes the proposal as follows:
“L’Auca is a play and is four plays. With the Catalan classic by Santiago Rusiñol L’Auca del Senyor Esteve as an excuse, we explore universal ideas like the battle between generations, the possibility of making a living from art, the culture of hard work and, obviously, Catalan idiosyncrasy.”
