The Project ‘Block the hater’, by the students of the Degree in Design and Innovation Laura Albert and Irina Edo, will participate in the Mobile World Congress 2024 at stand 8.1C31.5A of Laurel Gaming, an entertainment app that offers many types of video games.

‘Block the hater’ proposes a reflection on blocking as a strategy to put an end to haters and stop cyberbullying. It addresses the use of screens as the new shield of the 21st century and the fake security they provide. The project, through the game, considers if a single click is enough to put an end to bullying and reminds the user that blocking is no longer effective, because bullying can persist outside the screen and even if we block one hater, there always will be more of them.

Besides from this project, other students of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering will take part in the event of start-ups 4YFN of the Mobile World Congress with three projects promoted by Elisava Impuls.
