On Wednesday, 18 December, at 19:30, Laurenz Brunner, Swiss graphic designer at Source Type, will host a lecture organized by the Graphic Elisava masters.
Laurenz Brunner runs a prestigious independent design studio specializing in editorial design, visual identity, and typographic design, currently located in a former garage in Zurich. Internationally known for exploring the intersection between high culture and pop culture, art history, and science fiction, Brunner has worked with renowned institutions such as Schauspielhaus Zurich, Spotify, and Hamburger Bahnhof, among others.
In 2022, Brunner launched Source Type, an innovative research platform for typography and visual literacy, and is the author of iconic fonts such as Akkurat and Circular for Swiss type foundry Lineto. In addition, his track record includes distinctions such as the Swiss Federal Design Award and many other awards.
