From 13 December, the exhibition Beyond (Design) Frontiers will bring together 16 master students selected from 4 prestigious European design schools: UMPRUM (Prague), Elisava (Barcelona), Design Academy Eindhoven, and Konstfack (Stockholm). The exhibition, curated by Agáta Hošnová, explores the limits of design as a practice and its relationship to social, cultural, and ecological challenges.

Eduardo Paso. Master Beyond Branding.
Project that addresses the problem of dementia through an exploration of the power of food in the formation of memories.
Louise Zanartu and Louis Boudart. Master Beyond Product(s).
Installation that aims to generate debate on the coexistence of traditional practices with modern lifestyles.
Monique Lemos. Master in Design for a Responsible AI.
Critical essay in both written and video format that analyses how generative AI perpetuates prejudice through the exclusion of Black imaginaries.
Kaashvi Kothari. Master in Data Design.
Project that forces viewers to delve into the phenomenon of TikTok videos that commodify, glorify, and romanticize mental health problems and how this might be contributing to the rise of these problems among teenagers
This exhibition focuses on three thematic threads: the search for sustainable solutions to the climate crisis, the inclusion of marginalized groups through design, and the reflection on loss and disappearance in the social and ecological sphere. The selected works seek to rethink the limits of contemporary design and propose innovative solutions.
