Finestres Bookstore presents three Final Degree Projects of the Bachelor in Design and Innovation developed through the fruitful collaboration between Finestres Bookstore and Elisava, a partnership that began four years ago.
Finestres x Elisava was created to foster dialogue around issues that resonate with both institutions: reading as an essential anchor to life, the defence of the printed book as a cultural and emotional artefact, the need to step back from the acceleration of contemporary life, the management of information overload, critical thinking, and silence as a space to inhabit.
Building upon these shared interests, each student involved in the project develops an idea connected to their own concerns and creates a project jointly supervised by the Design Faculty and the bookstore.
As the third edition of this initiative comes to a close, we are delighted to present three projects that stand out for the way they connect reading with the present moment and reignite the desire to read, each from a highly personal perspective while remaining aligned with the spirit of Finestres.
The projects’ tutor, graphic design lecturer Rocío Hidalgo, will join this event where we will discover Insights, 249 Converses, and Corpus Liber, the works of Karen Caamaño, Carlota Esteruelas, and Carlos Nogales, respectively.
