A new edition of the Architecture Weeks cycle has arrived, the festival aimed at strengthening the link between architecture and citizenship. This year it will be held over seven weeks, from 14 May to 28 June, at different venues in Barcelona, and will feature three activities organised by Elisava.

Rambling
An exhibition where the first year students of the Undergraduate Degree in Design and Innovation will show their proposals to revitalise the empty flower kiosks on the Rambla. These projects offer new activities, services and experiences related to the floral tradition of the Rambla. The aim is not only to restore these spaces, but also to provide proposals that arouse the interest and participation of local citizens.
Compulsion
This is a device in permanent wandering between Elisava and the Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica, where 197 final projects will be exhibited. As it wanders, it will randomly combine the key words with which students have defined each project and, based on these words, it will compulsively proliferate statements by using artificial intelligence.
Degree Show
Exhibition of more than 250 final degree projects by students of the Undergraduate Degree in Design and Innovation and the Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Design Engineering, at the Centre d’Arts Santa Mònica. In this edition, the projects have been organised according to the Elisava Research themes, which integrate transversal questions of design and engineering as a form of research and general knowledge and move us to generate a positive impact.
About Architecture Weeks
Since its first edition in 2017, Architecture Weeks has been an initiative open to the presence and collaboration of all entities dedicated to the dissemination of architecture in the city of Barcelona, as well as a representation of different social, cultural, and artistic disciplines. The festival offers more than 183 activities aimed at all audiences to reflect and share how the built city has adapted to today’s challenges.
