Elisava participates in Foodture Barcelona 2021, the big event of the Food Design sector

Foodture Barcelona, organised by Barcelona Centre de Disseny and Plat Institute, will be held on the 26th and 27th November at Disseny Hub Barcelona.

Foodture brings together, connects and inspires designers, entrepreneurs, visionaries and start-ups from the world of gastronomy and food. Its aim is to share the most disruptive innovation while exploring and defining new trends in the fields of food design, food tech and social food. Some of the speakers at this year’s edition will be Luki Huber, Carme Ruscalleda, Laura Veraguas, Michael Chetpa and Antonis Mavropoulus, among others.

In addition, Elisava Alumni Elisabeth Sebastià, Rafa Prat and Laura Gispert will also be taking part in various activities organised by the Food Design Area of Elisava.

Ally, Elisabeth Sebastià

A project that proposes a dynamic aimed at hospitalised children through interaction with a robotic arm, called Ally, a fun way of eating fruit.

Soundametric Food, Rafa Prat

It is a project that revolves around the sounds generated when eating. It aims to record and analyse these sounds and then use the data obtained as a tool for gastronomic experiences.

Voilà, Laura Gispert

Edible cutlery, the alternative to single-use plastic cutlery. They disappear completely and also improve the consumer’s experience. Functional, delicious, nutritious and suitable for everyone.
