Exhibition of the project Gift Collection: Craftmanship and Fun Objects, carried out by students of the Degree in Design and Innovation in collaboration with the Japanese company MUJI. It is a collection of gift objects for the home, proposals that establish a relationship beyond their form or function, through play.
Throughout the process, students have worked together with the artisans: Olga Serral (paper), Llennas Natur Cork (cork), Julen Ussia (ceramics) and Sofia Plana (glass). The students have also worked on documentation, design image, communication and art direction, key elements for the publication of the collection, and product packaging.
The main objective of the project is to bring closer, share and communicate the value of the figure of the artisan as a key element between design and industry, in collaboration with MUJI and the artisans themselves. The project has been directed by Luis Eslava, Raúl Goñi, Guim Espelt and Francesc Ribot, professors at Elisava.
