PRESENTATION

The class consists of 5 four-hour sessions. It will include the execution of an individual or group project, related to the process for selecting materials for a specific project. Each 4-hour session will be broken down into lectures for explaining theory and practice for analysing materials.

GOALS

The mail goals of this programme are:

- To analyse the functionalities of new materials through case studies related to these materials.

- To learn of databases referring to new materials.

- To describe the operating methodology of new material centres.

- To analyse the possibilities of new additive production technologies in product design.
