PRESENTATION

An introductory course to graphic design to gain a better knowledge of its surroundings and areas of application. What it means to be a graphic designer. What we graphic designers do and how we do it. The course will be run for a week and will include practical exercises that will be done individually in the classroom. At the end of the week, the student will know whether or not this is their vocation.

GOALS

The mail goals of this programme are:

- To introduce students of the principles and basic notions of graphic design.

- To show what it means to be a graphic designer. The areas where graphists work and act; their tools and to show their use and applications by means of brief exercises that show us the reality of the profession.

- To offer an approach to the world of graphic design and its professional outlets. A vocation beyond the profession.
