This project comes from the vision that the readers and the publishers have about the future of the book and suggests the fusion between the digital world and the physical world so as to create a new experience. The reading of the physical book is complemented by an app for Mobiles and Tablets. Thanks to augmented reality the illustrations of the book emerge and the sound and the complementary contents are revealed. The project consists in a book that goes beyond the book.

    Tutors: Antoni Arola, Joaquim Matutano
Given the current precarious state of the scholar libraries, this project develops the “dream library” according to the young users’ opinions. Through their imagination, an approximation of how the ideal library would be is created: it would be a space that promotes culture and reading in a playful way as well as taking into account the application of emerging technologies.

The best thing ELISAVA gave me was the opportunity to learn from the best professionals we have at home. The passion they each feel for typography, calligraphy, editorial design, innovation, photography, etc. respectively is infectious, whether or not you want to be infected.

ELISAVA, apart from providing me with the knowledge and resources to work, has given me the opportunity to see different ways of working and living enriching experiences abroad thanks to Erasmus Program. It has also facilitated the presentation of PFE at BDC Design Ideas Market, where it was one of 20 finalists, and allowed me to have a first contact with companies and financiers.
