Hi! My name is Marianela and I am from Mexico City. From the beginning of the course until only one and a half months ago I lived in Barcelona, where for the last two and a half years I was art director at Amer Sports Spain, a sports equipment company which includes world-renowned brands such as Salomon, Wilson, Atomic, Suunto, Arc'teryx and Precor. During the year in which I attended the Master’s course, I did an internship at Desigual, a clothing brand whose home is, coincidentally, Barcelona. I am now back in my own country, and I am very happy to be embarking on this new stage with a new project: I am going to be art director of Liverpool, a leading department store company in Mexico. I am looking forward to preparing the visual displays for their events, mostly fashion shows. Something of great value that I achieved at ELISAVA was that I went from being a mere “executor” to being a “creator of concepts”, knowing and understanding that we sell experiences and not just the product, service or task requested of us. Algo muy valioso que obtuve en Elisava, es que pasé de ser una "ejecutante" a una "creadora de conceptos" y saber y entender que nosotros vendemos experiencias, no solamente un producto, servicio o tarea que nos pidan.
