Services

At ELISAVA we have a large number of services specially designed to support the needs of our students: equipment, guidance, complementary training, international exchanges, job exchange, work placements, grants… An entire catalogue of features to facilitate and enrich university life.
 

Student Attention and Information Service

Its main purpose is to deal with the queries and questions of students and future students, and accompany them throughout their time at the School. It depends on the Department of Communications, which also arranges visits by other education centres, information sessions, and open days. The Department of Communications organises personal interviews with the various head of studies of the official Bachelor’s Degrees and the directors of the Master’s and Postgraduate programmes.
 

International Relations Service

The list of exchanges ELISAVA offers with over 50 education centres worldwide clearly demonstrates how international the School is. The International Relations Department, dependent on the Academic Management Section, promotes and supports the mobility of our students with various programmes.
 

In-Company Work Placement Service and Job Exchange

The design of the Bachelor’s, Master’s and continuing education programmes is focused on students’ integration into employment. The School encourages students to go on work placements in companies and institutions, which are constantly supervised to ensure quality by tutors, who are assisted by the work placement unit dependent on the Academic Management Section. After students complete their studies, they have access to a job exchange service which has stable links with extremely important national and international companies.

Computer Service

A team of professionals manage at ELISAVA the operation of all computer systems and supports teaching, students and administratives staff from 8am to 10pm.

Academic Management Section

This department is responsible for processing all the applications related to the student’s file and academic life, and any formalities in connection with the work placement scheme, international relations, job exchange, etc. It also manages and coordinates the teaching activity, and acts as a link between the coordinators, tutors and students, thus serving the entire ELISAVA community.
 

Coursework Management Section

This is the service which looks after coursework, prototypes and models. It is also used as a means to give coursework to students, and it also manages the photography laboratory.
 

Multimedia Equipment Hire Service

Academic activity involves performing very varied coursework requiring multimedia material which the school supplies to the students.
 

Reprography Service

To enhance the teaching activity, students are given a card at the beginning of the course with a total number of photocopies paid for by the School. Students can also use the school’s reprography service for their own work.
 

Design Workshop

ELISAVA believes in the professional development of its students, which can take place in various areas (work placements, workshops, etc.). The Design Workshop is an example of this philosophy. Formed by former School students, the workshop relies on the participation of students to produce the School’s various publications and material (leaflets, posters, folders, etc.).


Lockers

The School provides a locker service for the use of the Centre’s staff, students and visitors.
