The Laus 2017 Awards, which took place the last June 30th within the framework of the Nit ADG Laus 2017, have recognized several projects of students and alumni of ELISAVA. In the Gold Category, which is the highest award of the prizes, two works have been awarded, ‘Relief Issue 1’ and ‘Barreg.es’. Below, we make a list with all the awarded works:
‘Relief Issue 1’

Definition of a magazine, from the content to the design: study of content, format, page number, rhythms, graphic and art direction project. A visual essay of great format, in a reflexive and timeless tone, about the world of sculpture since the 20th century.

‘Barreg.es’ wants to create a digital environment to encourage the cava consumption, by disassociating the product from the “celebration” moment and achieving a de-seasoned consumption. Editorial environment, design of which is organized and fresh and allows having a great volume of information.

Creation of a social awareness campaign about AIDS aimed at a public between 12 and 16 years old. As a differential element, ‘Cuéntale’ does not appeal for fear but for honesty, transparency and empathy, understanding the communication as a unique vaccine against this illness.

Design and editing of a book about the cinematographic movement “Dogma 95”. The publication, created around the three main ideas –contextualization, editing and design–, revolves around the producer Lars Von Trier before and after the emergence of this cultural movement.

Design and editing of a publication about the cinematographic movement Dogma 95 that highlights critics that appeared on this movement and its subsequent extinction. Rustic binding sewed with hardcover, covered with tobacco-color methacrylate and white print.

Defining a product from the concept to its graphic formalization. Starting from the ‘Barcelona’t’ project, ‘Embriaga’t’ (“a wine to let oneself go") represents this drink as a bottled poetry, by showing on the bottles the poem “Be Drunk” from C. Baudelaire, and by causing the visual and linguistic drift with the typographic composition.
'Savi & Aquí'

Two wine labels that conveyy the sensations they cause when drinking them. An invitation to feel the hints and details of the wine through the touch that also explores the use of 3D printing in short series.
