Lecture Agustí Costa

ELISAVA (La Rambla, 30-32). Room 203 (2nd floor)

The Postgraduate Diploma in Interior Space Design. Private Perimeters closes its 2017-18 edition with a lecture by an old friend of this school, Agustí Costa. His lecture “Practical and creative home interiors” will focus on the biggest challenge posed today by home interiors design: being practical. Generate interiors that before the praiseworthy and imperious desire to project beautiful spaces, do not dismiss the unwavering need to be practical and that they don’t end up being boring.

Agustí  Costa, interior designer and building engineer, professor and co-director of ELISAVA’s Master's Degree in Interior Design (from 2000 to 2017). Author of the book “L´Espai Interior. Actituds, sensacions i conceptes projectats” and the collective book "Environment. Interior Design". For 10 years he wrote opinion articles for Eben Interiors magazine and he currently writes for Wall Street International Magazine, in the Architecture and Design section. Lecturer and visiting professor at diverse American universities and author of interior design and design projects since 1987. Member of the jury of the FAD Awards 2015 on architecture and interior design areas, and also of the Interior Design Biennial of Girona 2013. His work has been widely disseminated by specialized media and exposed in various exhibitions.
