Jessica Fernández, responsible for the Project Area of the Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and director of the Master's Degree in Engineering of ELISAVA, will participate next December 4 in the second edition of the Guatemala Innovation Forum 2018.
At a time when women engineers are increasingly their presence in the technological context, Jessica Fernández will be one of the leading speakers of the event with the conference 'Innovación, nanotecnología y cuerpo humano '. In it, She will address the growing prominence of graphene at a time of change of social and industrial era in which new technological ecosystems of an intangible nature gain ground, such as those linked to data, the new material scale and printed electronics.
In this framework, the new concept of two-dimensional materials applied to technological design has a great disruptive potential, especially in the nanobiosensory applied to design. There is also a great tendency towards human hybridization and, in this field, the wearables represent a new generation of products that allow us to explore the relationship between human beings and advanced technology, opening a new field of possibilities.
GIF 2018 seeks to be the benchmark event in innovation strategies in Guatemala by emphasizing the use of them as a tool for the solution of any problem.
