Postcards are lying souvenirs, fictions created for tourists

Starting from this premise, the students and teachers of the Master's Degree in Photography and Design of ELISAVA gave shape last year to the project Greetings from Barcelona, an artistic intervention that subverts the postcard format to show, between the irony and the critique, the blurred, dark and vibrant Barcelona that you will never see in the souvenir shops.

After passing through the DOCfield 2017 festival, the exhibition now reaches the place where it was born, ELISAVA, to keep questioning the importance, history and current use of this format, while investigating the simulacrum image of the Catalan capital that has been builtthrough this format.

We invite you to the opening of the exhibition next Thursday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m. We will be expecting you!
