BCNegra, the black novel festival in Barcelona, has invited the students of the ELISAVA’s Master’s Degree in Illustration and Comic to become accomplices in an unprecedented artistic proposal.
During the days of the festival (from January 29th to February 4th), the students of this master’s degree will attend various BCNegra sessions to make robot portraits of some guests and the public attending to the event, who will be portrayed as being suspected of being readers of a black novel. In this mission, our students will be accompanied on Tuesday 30th by the cartoonist Lupine.
Exhibition in La Modelo
The set of resulting portraits can be seen in the exhibition ‘Retrats robot’, Sunday, February 4th in the morning, in a very special setting, the old Barcelona prison la Model, in a tribute to the past of the historic site.
The poster of BCNegra 2018, which currently has the writer Carlos Zanón as a new curator, has a poster designed by Natalia Zaratiegui, illustrator and teacher of the ELISAVA’s Master’s Degree in Illustration and Comic.
