ELISAVA has signed an agreement with UIC Barcelona School of Architecture that will allow the graduates of ELISAVA's Degree in Design and of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Design to obtain the Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.

It's a pioneer agreement in the Catalan university system which will enable ELISAVA's students to obtain the UIC's Bachelor's Degree in Architecture through a system of recognition of credits: the students of the Degree in Design should complete a minimum of 180 credits, while the students of the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Design should complete a minimum of 178,5 credits.

The access profiles are the following:

  1. All ELISAVA students graduated in the Degree in Design from July 2013 (course 2012-2013) who took the formative profile or mention in Space Design.
  2. All ELISAVA students graduated in the Degree in Engineering in Industrial Design from July 2013 (course 2012-2013) who took the formative profile or mention in Product Design.

The agreement was signed on June 27 by the UIC Barcelona's Rector, Xavier Gil, and ELISAVA's General Director, Javier Peña; and will come into effect the following school year 2018-2019.

To get to know all the details, we invite you to come to the briefing session next Wednesday July 11 at 6:30 p.m., at rooms 217-218 (ELISAVA, 2nd floor).
