In a time when visual communication seems to be the basic ingredient to exchange messages and ideas with the world, graphic design looks for a better way of extending such messages to their public. In order to find a solution, MAKE IT EMOTIONAL proposes the adaptation of the emotional design theories to the graphic design projects.
This book is the result of a research based on the theoretical frameworks of Don Norman, in the theories about emotional design, and how the designers Stefan Sagmesiter and James Victore work on this field. The project is divided in eighteen principles that focus on different ways of emotionally being in contact with the public, and it is similar to a practice manual. This is why its main target are the graphic design students that want to focus their work on emotional design parameters.
