Qualification: Masters in Fashion Design, from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) and ELISAVA Escola Superior de Disseny.

October 2010 Programme: The qualification of Masters in Fashion Design: Design and Fashion is obtained by taking the Postgraduate Diploma in Design and Fashion: Creativity and Trends, from October 2010 to February 2011, and the Postgraduate Diploma in Design and Fashion: Collection and Context, from March to July 2011.

 
March 2011 Programme: The qualification of Masters in Fashion Design: Design and Fashion is obtained by taking the Postgraduate Diploma in Design and Fashion: Collection and Context, from March to July 2011, and the Postgraduate Diploma in Design and Fashion: Creativity and Trends, from October 2011 to February 2012.

DIRECTION

TONI MIRÓ. Designer and creative director of Antonio Miró. In 1967, he opened the Groc boutique, which became a reference for those with open and innovative minds. During the 70s and 80s, he taught fashion, was a costume designer for cinema and television and composed music for the film Tatuaje by Bigas Luna. Miró has always supported avant-garde creations from the time, by working with artists and cinema directors. In 1978, he travelled to Kyoto and was impressed by Japanese culture. In 1987, he was awarded the Cristóbal Balenciaga prize. He put on his first fashion show in Milan in 1991, followed by Paris in 1995, the year in which the first Antonio Miró boutique was also opened, a chain that has expanded internationally since then. In 2002, he received the Antoni Gaudí Barcelona Moda medal and the GQ prize as man of the year. In 2003, he received the Fine Arts award in Granada in recognition of his creative work. Today, Miró designs lamps, furniture, fabric designs, objects for the home and men’s and women’s accessories, multidisciplinary activity that led him to design the Hotel Miró Bilbao (2005) and the lobby of the Ferran Adrià's El Bulli restaurant, amongst other projects. In 2008, he created the Antonio Miró Interiors collection.
